WHAT Katie DOES NOW
I provide writing, editing, photographic services and communications marketing guidance to a variety of clients ranging from magazines and websites to arts and civic organizations to regional businesses. I am also working on a book that chronicles the history of a grassroots Alabama environmental organization that existed in the 1970s and 80s and which laid the groundwork for many of today’s state and national environmental education and advocacy programs.
BEST AUBURN MEMORY
I grew up in Auburn and have spent most of my life in this area, which means I sincerely consider myself a member of the Auburn family. Needless to say I have many, many fond memories of this place…so many that it would be hard to pick just one. However, most of those memories are tied to the people I have come to know and love in the College of Agriculture and the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station—from the amazing students in the agricultural communications program to my former co-workers in the Office of Agricultural Communications and Marketing to the many faculty and staff members of the college and Experiment Station who are so sincerely dedicated to their jobs and to improving the lives of people in our state, region, nation and across the globe. They make me proud to be part of the Auburn Family.
