Battalion Operations Officer For The 711th Brigade Support Battalion
WHAT William DOES NOW
I advise the battalion commander on combat, combat service, operational matters, organization and training. I develop and publish all operations orders tasking subordinate units and sections. I am responsible for any force structure changes, as well as scheduling, in coordination with the S$ (logistics), new equipment training teams to support arrival of new material. I am also responsible, with the aid of other staff officers, for integrating the following operations into the tactical plan: psychological operations, electronic warfare, jamming/ECM operations, operations security, deception, counter reconnaissance and tactical troop movements.
BEST AUBURN MEMORY
There are so many great memories from Auburn. One trip really sticks out in my mind. While I was president of the College of Agriculture and an Ag Ambassador, several of us Ambassadors went out to San Louis Obispo to Cal Poly for a conference. It was an amazing and wonderful trip with my Ag brothers and sisters. There were several trips that we all took white water rafting where we tried setting our tent up in torrential downpour to the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Ga. Those precious times we spend with friends turn into ever lasting memories.
