Caring for animals and feeding a growing population.
In the Department of Animal Sciences, we’re committed to the nutrition and welfare of all animals, as well as healthy, sustainable food sources. As animal scientists, we are biologists, chemists, microbiologists, ecologists, geneticists and food scientists. Our students, faculty and alumni work as producers, veterinarians, breeders, even medical researchers and beyond.
