ABOUT MELVIN
With undergraduate and graduate degrees in food science, Melvin works as food engineering services team leader and DOD combat feeding directorate for Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center in Natick, Massachusetts. In this position, heĀ leads a team responsible for preparing and coordinating performance-based contract requirements and procurement documents for all ration platforms that have been Warfighter Recommended, Tested and Approved.Ā Providing leadership, purpose and direction to a diverse group of people in the planning, organization and direction of life cycle quality assurance programs for food, packaging and preservation systems is the focus of hisĀ position.
